the eyes lead the body

I wear glasses (when I’m not wearing contacts).  and my frames are made by Nike.  on the inside of these frames is inscribed the eyes lead the body.  brilliant, like just do it is.  go Nike.

although when I read it yesterday for the hundredth time, I saw a metaphor for something beyond the physical implications.  for it is also true that our perspective, how we perceive our world, leads our actions, our behavior and our direction.

makes a change in perspective very powerful.  looking at something in a different way, leads you a different way.  seeing the positive more than the negative, opportunity more than obstacles, plenty instead of lack, health and happiness instead of disease and misery.

Nike has done it again.  a slogan that we can live by.
